Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve is most known for it's cave which links Mare's Leg Cove to Cathedral Cove. This cave is accessible from a beach on a short hike which also passes by Gemstone Bay and Stingray Bay. From the lookout point you can see many of the islands which surround the Coromandel Peninsula.
